Materials You'll Need:

One 36-inch Riverstone Grey Wood Shelf Slab
Two 1/2-inch by 14-inch Black Pipes
Four 1/2-inch Black Flanges
Measuring tape
Screwdriver
Screws
Level

Let's get started!

Step 1: Clean and Seal the Pipes and Fittings

Begin by cleaning the black pipes and fittings to remove any residue or markings. You can use a mild cleanser and a cloth for this. After cleaning, consider applying a sealant or paint to protect the pipes and fittings and give them a polished finish. Allow them to dry completely.

Step 2: Attach Flanges to the Pipes

Screw one end of each 1/2-inch by 14-inch black pipe into a black flange. These flanges will serve as the base for your table riser.

Step 3: Measure Your Wood Shelf Slab and Place Flanges

Measure your Riverstone Grey Wood Shelf Slab to ensure it's the desired length for your table. Place the black flanges on each end of the wood slab, ensuring they are equidistant from the center and approximately 2 inches from the edge.

Step 4: Screw in the Flanges to the Wood Shelf

Using your screwdriver and screws, securely attach the flanges to the wood shelf slab. This step will create the top part of your table riser.

Step 5: Flip Over and Place in the Center of Your Dining Table

Carefully flip the assembled table riser over, so the pipes are now pointing downward. Place it in the center of your dining table. Make sure it's level and doesn't wobble. Adjust the flanges or pipes if necessary.

Step 6: Decorate and Enjoy!

Now that your table riser is in place, it's time to add your Thanksgiving decorations. Whether it's a beautiful centerpiece, candles, or seasonal ornaments, your elevated decor will take center stage without obstructing the view or access to the delicious feast.

With this simple DIY table riser, you can create a stunning Thanksgiving table that's both practical and visually appealing. Elevating your decorations not only adds a touch of elegance to your holiday gathering but also ensures that everyone around the table can enjoy the meal and each other's company without any obstructions. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁
