How to Install 24-Inch Shelves with L-Shaped Brackets: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Assemble the L-Shaped Brackets

Now that your pipes are clean and sealed, it’s time to assemble the L-shaped brackets:

1.Connect the First Flange and Elbow: Attach one flange to a ½” x 4” Connector. Connect a ½” 90° Elbow to the other end of the connector.

2.Create the L Shape: Connect a ½” x 1.125” Connector to the open end of the 90° Elbow.

3.Finish the Bracket: Attach another flange to the opposite end of the 1.125” connector to complete the L shape. Repeat for the other three brackets.

Step 2: Install the Brackets to the Wall

1.Locate the Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate the studs in your wall and mark the spots. If installing on drywall, follow these extra steps:

• Pre-drill holes for the plastic wall anchors using a ¼” drill bit.
• Push the wall anchors into the pre-drilled holes. You may need a hammer to ensure they’re flush and secure.

2.Mount the Brackets: Attach the assembled L-shaped brackets to the marked wall areas using the included screws.

3.Install the Shelves: Place the wooden shelves onto the brackets and secure them with the provided screws.
